Blazing Saddles was established in 2018 to unite families, churches, and communities and provide help and care to individuals and organizations in need. Our goal is to bring a community together with a common interest in cycling and running, to help save a life, one person at a time, and heal families that have suffered a loss due to suicide. The Blazing Saddles Ride and Run benefit Team Suicide Prevention, Coffee Bunkers, Hope is Oxygen, and Hope is Alive organizations.

Held at your hometown in Bixby, Oklahoma, at The Bridge Church, riders will depart from the parking lot at 7:30 a.m. to enjoy a tour of Northeast Oklahoma’s beautiful backcountry. With an early start, we hope to avoid seeing any flames unless they’re coming from the speed of your saddle! For convenience, riders will be dealt their five-card poker hand AFTER crossing the finish line. Riders will, however, be able to purchase additional playing cards for $5 each. Rest stops will be stationed approximately every 12-15 miles and provide snacks, beverages, and sag support.
